We have stayed at this hotel a number of times with family and friends and always enjoyed it, however on a recent trip on arrival at reception we were informed that there wasn't a hotel room and we were "walked" to an off-site apartment down the road from the hotel. The lady on reception hilariously described it as an upgrade. It's not an upgrade to end up in a random apartment down the road, rather than a room in the hotel. Even to check out we had an early morning walk back to the hotel in heavy rain. Very poor way to treat a customer with a confirmed booking.

City break with family 2 rooms on same floor room 401 & 404 same floor. Room 404 was ok however room 401 we had an air con issue reported to reception first night as it was noisy keeping us awake like a kettle boiling every 2 minutes the lady on reception turned it off however no change there must have been more to it. On day 2 I reported again the guy on reception apologised and said if we were going out an engineer would go up and fix so we hoped that would be the end of it. But it wasn’t the noise was the same so I went back to report the lady on reception this time said they can have another look but enough was enough we moved to another room as we only had 3 days of the holiday so we moved to room 317 on 3rd floor. This room had its issues also 1. A broken plug socket. 2. A dirty sheet. 3. mauld around the bath silicone. 4. Very bad decoration. Pictures attached not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel but we never complained further about these as the air con seemed fine in this room 317 and we only had a day or so left. The hotel staff are pleasant it’s just the other things that have let it down and at no point did any management intervene if they were there with all the issues we raised what was a shame as would have liked to have told them.

Stayed Easter weekend. Staff are so helpful, polite and friendly. They helped with directions and lent us a brolly as it tipped it down Sat night. Breakfast is amazing with so much choice. Freshly made omelettes to order. Bedroom is a decent size. Beds are large and comfortable. Hairdryer in the bathroom, shampoo and body wash provided. Safe in the room too. It’s a bit of a way out but tram stops and metro station nearby, so had no trouble getting around. Would def stay again if we go back to Milan.

i visited here with my boyfriend this past weekend for 3 nights. the hotel was so clean and the staff were just so friendly. they helped us with so many things for example getting back to the airport, checking in early, how to use the trams and so on. The room itself was big, the bed was comfy and the hotel make a conscious effort to urge guests to reduce the water they use and make smarter environmental decisions. we didn’t eat breakfast here so i couldn’t comment on that. in terms of location, it was quite far out from the center, i would say this isn’t walking distance if you like coming and going from the hotel (for example go out in the morning and come back before tea and then back out again) but this wasn’t a problem as trams 1 and 19 take you right into the centre and stop outside the hotel. it’s also a short walk away from the metro. i’d definitely recommend this hotel if you are comfortable using public transport if not maybe somewhere closer to the centre would suit you more.

Me, my husband and daughter stayed here for 3 nights over the New year. For the most part this hotel is great. The reception area and staff were very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable on arrival. We were in room 322 which is at the end of the corridor and it was so, so quiet. However the room was tiny. We had a third bed in there so it would be ok if it was just for two but for the three of us, there wasn't much room. It was also very hot. We couldn't get the air con to turn off and even when it was at the lowest setting we had to open the window for some cool air every now and again. The radiator in the bathroom leaked and left the floor wet which we reported but it was never fixed during our stay. However the room was spotless. We opted to add the breakfast on as I had read good reviews on here and all I can say was, it was fantastic. The choice, the staff and the ambience was really, really good. Could have sat there all day and indulged. We came to watch a football game at the San Siro and it was easily walkable albeit not close and that was one of the reasons we chose it. Also very close to Casa Milan. However it's location for the main tourist sights is not so great. We are walkers but it was not possible to walk down to the Duomo and we had to taxi it. We arrived into Malpensa and took the train to Cadorna and walked from there to the hotel which again is a very easy walk. We had a lovely stay here and would return if we were in the Portello area.
